The TERA Category 8.2 system supports autonegotiation and is backwards compatible to support copper-based Ethernet applications from 1 to 40 Gig in a variety of configurations. The system provides enhanced internal and alien crosstalk and insertion loss performance over Category 8/8.1 RJ45-based systems.

Base-8 Plug and Play Fiber
Providing seamless transition from duplex 10 Gb/s to current and future 8-fiber applications. Current 40 and 100 gigabit (Gb/s) multimode fiber applications, as well as future 200 and 400 Gb/s multimode and singlemode applications, are based on 8 optical fibers with 4 fibers transmitting and 4 receiving at either 10 Gb/s or 25 Gb/s.
Base-12 Plug and Play Fiber
Siemon’s Base-12 Plug and Play Fiber Systems include enclosures, modules, adapters, trunk assemblies and jumpers to provide complete end-to-end fiber systems for ultra high-density, high-density and standard-density fiber deployments. Modules and adapters use high-quality ceramic alignment sleeves to deliver tighter tolerances and greater durability than traditional phosphor bronze sleeves for improved fiber-to-fiber mating alignment and wear resistance.
Fiber Optic Cabling
Siemon XGLO Fiber Optic Cabling Systems utilize bend-insensitive laser-optimized multimode fiber and advanced bend-insensitive singlemode fiber to support the very latest fiber applications.
